God is not mad – He is glad!

Many people avoid having a relationship with God because they think He is angry with them.

– They might think they have committed to many sins and mistakes for God to love them.

– They might look at all the problems in the world and draw the conclusion that God must be angry with the world.

– They might even have received a wrongful image of God by reading from the Old Testament in the Bible how God punished people, and consequently they think that God is about to punish them today.

Do you recognize yourself in any of this? Have you ever wondered: Is God angry with me?

I have good news for you: God’s anger because of mankind’s sin was once and for all exhausted on the cross 2000 years ago, when Jesus died for the sins of the world.

God sent His Son Jesus to die – for your sins and my sins. While hanging on the cross, Jesus took upon Himself all consequences of mankind’s sin, so that you and I could go free.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Cor. 5:18-21)

Because of what Jesus did on the cross, God is not angry with you. He is smiling at you. He is inviting you to have fellowship with Him, by believing and receiving Jesus into your heart.

Think about it: You can have fellowship with the God of the universe, the Creator of everything, who also created you. The key and door to this fellowship is to believe in God’s son, Jesus Christ.

Three days after Jesus had died on the cross, God raised Him from the dead. Jesus is alive today. Everyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved and receive eternal life. If you want to receive Jesus, just pray with me right now. Say:

“Jesus, I believe that You died for my sins and that God raised You from the dead. Come into my heart. You are my Lord.”

If you said this, something supernatural just happened. You became born again, a child of God. Find a good Bible-believing church to fellowship with, so that you can get to know God more, and learn more about His great love for you.
